Abstract
One or more methods of operating an access node. At least one of the methods includes: detecting a capability indication that indicates a capability of a user equipment (UE) to simultaneously receive and transmit (Rx/Tx) on a first component carrier (CC1) and a second component carrier (CC2); and scheduling, based at least on the capability, a first UE activity to occur over the CC1 and a second UE activity to occur over the CC2 to avoid a collision in a time-domain by prioritizing one of the first UE activity or the second UE activity relative to the other one of the first UE activity or the second UE activity.

1-23. (canceled)
A method of operating an access node, comprising:
- detecting a capability indication that indicates a capability of a user equipment (UE) to simultaneously receive and transmit (Rx/Tx) on a first component carrier (CC1) and a second component carrier (CC2);
- and
- prioritizing, based at least on the capability, one of a first activity scheduled to be transmitted via the CC1 at a first time or a second activity scheduled to be transmitted via the CC2 at the first time in order to avoid a time-domain collision.
A method of operating a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
- receiving an indication to operate in a carrier aggregation or a dual-connectivity mode, wherein operating in the carrier aggregation or the dual-connectivity mode involves communicating on a first component carrier (CC1) and a second component carrier (CC2);
- determining that a first UE activity on the CC1 collides in a time-domain with a second UE activity on the CC2;
- and
- in response to the determination and based on a capability of the UE, performing one of the first UE activity or the second UE activity as a prioritized activity.
An access node, comprising:
- one or more processors configured to perform operations comprising:
- detecting a capability indication that indicates a capability of a user equipment (UE) to simultaneously receive and transmit (Rx/Tx) on a first component carrier (CC1) and a second component carrier (CC2);
- and
- prioritizing, based at least on the capability, one of a first activity scheduled to be transmitted via the CC1 at a first time or a second activity scheduled to be transmitted via the CC2 at the first time in order to avoid a time-domain collision.
