Liaison System and Method for Cloud Computing Environment

A computer-implemented method for cloud computing, the computer-implemented method comprising:

• managing a first end user request sent from a first end user device to a first cloud service provider system to perform a first computational job via cloud computing, the managing of the first end user request including selecting a first consumer device to perform at least a portion of the first computational job and assigning the at least a portion of the first computational job to the first consumer device selected;
• and
• managing a second end user request sent from a second end user device to a second cloud service provider system to perform a second computational job via cloud computing, the managing of the second end user request including selecting a second consumer device to perform at least a portion of the second computational job and assigning the at least a portion of the second computational job to the second consumer device selected, wherein the first and second consumer devices are different or same consumer devices in a pool of consumer devices allocated for use in cloud computing.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium having encoded thereon a sequence of instructions which, when loaded and executed by at least one processor, causes the at least one processor:

• manage a first end user request sent from a first end user device to a first cloud service provider system to perform a first computational job via cloud computing and, to manage the first end user request, the sequence of instructions further causes the processor to select a first consumer device to perform at least a portion of the first computational job and assign the at least a portion of the first computational job to the first consumer device selected;
• and
• manage a second end user request sent from a second end user device to a second cloud service provider system to perform a second computational job via cloud computing and, to manage the second end user request, the sequence of instructions further causes the processor to select a second consumer device to perform at least a portion of the second computational job and assign the at least a portion of the second computational job to the second consumer device selected, wherein the first and second consumer devices are different or same consumer devices in a pool of consumer devices allocated for use in cloud computing.

A liaison system for cloud computing, the liaison system comprising:

• means for managing a first end user request, sent from a first end user device to a first cloud service provider system to perform a first computational job via cloud computing, the managing of the first end user request including selecting a first consumer device to perform at least a portion of the first computational job and assigning the at least a portion of the first computational job to the first consumer device selected;
• and
• means for managing a second end user request, sent from a second end user device to a second cloud service provider system to perform a second computational job via cloud computing, the managing of the second end user request including selecting a second consumer device to perform at least a portion of the second computational job and assigning the at least a portion of the second computational job to the second consumer device selected, wherein the first and second consumer devices are different or same consumer devices in a pool of consumer devices allocated for use by the liaison system for the cloud computing.
