Abstract
A media access control element (MAC CE) indicates a terminal device to enable or disable at least one hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process, or the MAC CE requests a network device to enable or disable the at least one HARQ process. This provides a solution for dynamically controlling a HARQ function.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- generating a media access control protocol data unit (MAC PDU), wherein the MAC PDU comprises a MAC control element (CE), and the MAC CE requests a network device to enable or disable at least one hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process;
- and
- sending the MAC PDU.
A communication device, comprising:
- at least one processor, the at least one processor is coupled to a non-transitory memory;
- wherein
- when reading and executing program code stored in the non-transitory memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
- generate a media access control protocol data unit (MAC PDU), wherein the MAC PDU comprises a MAC control element (CE), and the MAC CE requests a network device to enable or disable at least one hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process;
- and
- send the MAC PDU.

- when reading and executing program code stored in the non-transitory memory, the at least one processor is configured to:
