Abstract
A system and method of assisting medical treatment decisions, are described. The method includes receiving unstructured data, including real world data, scientific document data, and expert knowledge data, corresponding to patient journeys. The method includes generating unstructured data from the structured data, including expert defined rules based on the expert knowledge data. The method includes determining treatment pattern data based on the structured data. The treatment pattern data can include treatment patterns used by a physician to treat a population, and may be transmitted for display at a client device to assist in making medical treatment decisions. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving, by one or more processors of a computing system, unstructured data including real world data, scientific document data, and expert knowledge data corresponding to patient journeys;
- generating, by the one or more processors based on the unstructured data, structured data including expert defined rules based on the expert knowledge data;
- determining, by the one or more processors based on the structured data, treatment pattern data corresponding to a treatment pattern used by a physician to treat a patient population;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors of the computing system in response to a search query including a name of the physician, the treatment pattern data.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions, which when executed by one or more processors of a computing system, cause the computing system to perform a method comprising:
- receiving, by the one or more processors, unstructured data including real world data, scientific document data, and expert knowledge data corresponding to patient journeys;
- generating, by the one or more processors based on the unstructured data, structured data including expert defined rules based on the expert knowledge data;
- determining, by the one or more processors based on the structured data, treatment pattern data corresponding to a treatment pattern used by a physician to treat a patient population;
- and
- transmitting, by the one or more processors in response to a search query including a name of the physician, the treatment pattern data.
A computing system, comprising:
- a memory storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to cause the system to perform a method comprising:
- receiving, unstructured data including real world data, scientific document data, and expert knowledge data corresponding to patient journeys,
- generating, based on the unstructured data, structured data including expert defined rules based on the expert knowledge data,
- determining, based on the structured data, treatment pattern data corresponding to a treatment pattern used by a physician to treat a patient population, and
- transmitting, in response to a search query including a name of the physician, the treatment pattern data.
