Abstract
Systems and methods are disclosed including a memory device and a processing device operatively coupled to the memory device. The processing device can perform operations including determining a value of a data state metric of a memory page; responsive to the data state metric satisfying a first threshold criterion, determining a value of a voltage distribution metric associated with the page; and responsive to the voltage distribution metric value satisfying a second threshold criterion, performing a media management operation with respect to a block associated with the page.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a memory device;
- and
- a processing device, operatively coupled to the memory device, to perform operations comprising:
- determining a value of a data state metric of a memory page;
- responsive to the data state metric value satisfying a first threshold criterion, determining a value of a voltage distribution metric associated with the page;
- and
- responsive to the voltage distribution metric value satisfying a second threshold criterion, performing a media management operation with respect to a block associated with the page.
A method, comprising:
- determining a value of a data state metric of a memory page;
- responsive to the data state metric satisfying a first threshold criterion, determining a plurality of voltage distribution metrics associated with the page;
- responsive to determining that a first voltage distribution metric value of the plurality of voltage distribution metric values fails to satisfy a second threshold criterion, applying a second voltage distribution metric value of the plurality of voltage distribution metric values to a third threshold criterion;
- and
- responsive to the second of the voltage distribution metric value satisfying the third threshold criterion, performing a media management operation with respect to a block associated with the page.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by a processing device operatively coupled to a memory, performs operations comprising:
- determining a value of a data state metric of a memory page associated with a block;
- responsive to the data state metric satisfying a first threshold criterion, determining a value of a voltage distribution metric associated with the page;
- and
- responsive to the voltage distribution metric value satisfying a second threshold criterion, performing a media management operation with respect to a block associated with the page.
