Abstract
A stadium seat information system recognizes a real world stadium seat object uses augmented, mixed and/or virtual reality to display information relating to the stadium seat object on a smart device such as a smartphone or AR glasses.

A method of presenting stadium seat information to a user characterized by:
- enabling capture by a portable camera of an image of a stadium seat object having indicia disposed thereon;
- recognizing the indicia from the captured image;
- associating the recognized stadium seat object with a record in response to the recognizing;
- selecting a media item in response to the recognition and/or the associating;
- and
- superimposing a selected media item onto a display of the captured image or an image derived therefrom.
