Abstract
A method and system are configured to generate user-specific information, such as wager-related information, for display on one or more display devices of a user. The system is configured to store user preferences, to determine a location of the user and a configuration of the user's display device(s), and to use the location information and at least one of the user preference information and group information to generate the user-specific information, and to configure the user-specific information based upon the configuration of the user display device(s), wherein when there is more than one user display device, the user-information and configuration thereof may vary for each device.

A system for configuring user-specific information for display by at least a first display device and a second display device of a user, comprising:
- a server comprising a processor, a memory, a communication interface and machine-readable code stored in said memory and executable by said processor;
- a database of user accounts, each of said user accounts having user-preference information associated therewith;
- and
- said machine-readable code configured to cause said processor to generate user-specific information for a particular user from a set of information based upon at least said user-preference information of said user, to configure said user-specific information based upon information regarding said first display device and said second display device of said user, comprising at least determining an amount and format of a first portion of said user-specific information to be displayed by said first display device and a second portion of said user-specific information to be displayed by said second display device of said user, based at least in part upon a size of a display of each of said first display device and said second display device, and to transmit said user-specific information to said first display device and said second display device of said user to cause said first display device and said second display device of said user to display said first and second portions of said user-specific information.
A system for configuring wager-related information for display to a user via a first display device and a second display device of said user, comprising:
- a server comprising a processor, a memory, a communication interface and machine-readable code stored in said memory and executable by said processor;
- a database of user accounts, each of said user accounts having user-preference information associated therewith;
- and
- said machine-readable code configured to cause said processor to receive information regarding a location of a user and information regarding a first display device and a second display device of said user, to generate user-specific wager-related information for said user from a set of information based upon said location and at least one of said user-preference information and group information, to configure said user-specific information based upon a configuration of said first display device and said second display device comprising at least determining an amount and format for said user-specific information to be displayed by each of said first display device and said second display device of said user, based at least in part upon a size of a display of said first display device and said second display device of said user, and to transmit first user-specific information to said first display device and second user-specific information to said second display device to cause said first display device and said second display device of said user to display said first and second user-specific information.
A method of configuring user-specific information for display by at least a first display device and a second display device of a user, comprising the steps of:
- receiving, at a server comprising a processor, a memory, a communication interface and machine-readable code stored in said memory and executable by said processor, information which identifies said user;
- receiving at said server, information regarding the first display device and the second display device of said user;
- causing said processor of said server to execute said machine-readable code stored in said memory configured to cause said processor of said server to:
- utilize said information which identifies said user to access a user account associated with a database of user accounts, each of said user accounts having user-preference information associated therewith;
- generate user-specific information for a particular user from a set of information based upon at least said user-preference information of said user associated with said user account associated with said user;
- configure said user-specific information based upon said information regarding said first display device and said second display device of said user, comprising at least determining an amount and format of a first portion of said user-specific information to be displayed by said first display device and a second portion of said user-specific information to be displayed by said second display device of said user, based at least in part upon a size of a display of each of said first display device and said second display device, wherein at least an amount or format of said first and second portions of said user-specific information varies when said size of said display of said first display device and said second display device vary;
- and
- transmit said user-specific information to said first display device and said second display device of said user to cause said first display device and said second display device of said user to display said first and second portions of said user-specific information.
