Abstract
Lighting devices are described and may include a housing, a solar panel, and at least one speaker. The housing may include a cover and a base coupled to the cover. The lighting device may also include at least one rechargeable battery, a microprocessor, and a plurality of light sources, such as LEDs, configured to emit light towards the cover. The solar panel, the rechargeable battery, the microprocessor, the speaker, and the plurality of light sources may be in electronic communication with one another. Further, for example, the microprocessor may be configured to control at least one operating mode of the plurality of light sources and at least one operating mode of the speaker.

1-20. (canceled)
A lighting device comprising:
- a housing including a first chamber and a second chamber;
- a solar panel coupled to an outer surface of the housing;
- at least one speaker disposed within the first chamber, the housing comprising a textile material radially outward of the at least one speaker to permit the passage of sound therethrough;
- at least one rechargeable battery;
- a microprocessor;
- and
- a plurality of light sources disposed within the second chamber, the plurality of light sources configured to emit light in a direction opposite the solar panel and through a portion of the housing that is at least partially transparent or translucent;
- wherein the solar panel, the at least one rechargeable battery, the microprocessor, the at least one speaker, and the plurality of light sources are in electronic communication with one another;
- and
- wherein the microprocessor is configured to control at least one operating mode of the plurality of light sources and at least one operating mode of the at least one speaker.
A lighting device comprising:
- a housing;
- a solar panel coupled to an outer surface of the housing;
- a speaker disposed within the housing;
- a rechargeable battery;
- a microprocessor;
- and
- a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) facing a portion of the housing that is at least partially transparent or translucent;
- wherein the solar panel, the rechargeable battery, the microprocessor, the speaker, and the plurality of LEDs are in electronic communication with one another;
- and
- wherein the microprocessor is configured to modify light output of the plurality of LEDs in combination with an audible output from the speaker.
A lighting device comprising:
- a housing including:
- a first chamber;
- and
- a second chamber outside of the first chamber;
- a solar panel coupled to an outer surface of the housing;
- at least one speaker disposed within the first chamber and radially inward of a portion of the housing that comprises a textile material;
- at least one rechargeable battery;
- a microprocessor;
- and
- a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) within the second chamber;
- wherein the solar panel, the rechargeable battery, the microprocessor, the at least one speaker, and the plurality of LEDs are in electronic communication with one another.
