Abstract
An apparatus includes a memory and a hardware processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The hardware processor receives, from a plurality of power supplies, a plurality of indications of electrical power disturbances detected by the plurality of power supplies and determines locations of the plurality of power supplies based on the plurality of indications. The hardware processor also determines, based on the plurality of locations, an event that caused the electrical power disturbances and classifies the event based on the location of the plurality of power supplies.

An apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a hardware processor communicatively coupled to the memory, the hardware processor configured to:
- receive, from a plurality of power supplies, a plurality of indications of electrical power disturbances detected by the plurality of power supplies;
- determine locations of the plurality of power supplies based on the plurality of indications;
- determine, based on the plurality of locations, an event that caused the electrical power disturbances;
- and
- classify the event based on the location of the plurality of power supplies.
A computing device comprising:
- a power supply configured to supply power to the computing device, the power supply comprising:
- a hardware processor configured to detect an electrical power disturbance in the power supply;
- and
- a bus configured to communicate an indication of the electrical power disturbance to a monitoring device, the indication comprising an identifier of the power supply.
A method comprising:
- supplying, by a power supply, power to a device;
- detecting, by a hardware processor of the power supply, an electrical power disturbance in the power supply;
- and
- communicating, by a bus of the power supply, an indication of the electrical power disturbance to a monitoring device.
