Abstract
A sample producing apparatus produces an observation sample by placing an observation target object on a surface of a liquid pool on an optically transparent plate and then removing the liquid pool. The sample producing apparatus comprises a holding means for holding the plate, and a tilting means for tilting the plate such that the liquid pool on the plate is flowed. According to the sample producing apparatus, the working efficiency when producing the observation sample is improved.

A sample producing apparatus configured to produce an observation sample formed by imparting an observation target object onto an optically transparent plate, comprising:
- a housing including an exterior panel of the sample producing apparatus;
- a holding portion capable of holding the plate, which a working subject can access to impart the observation target object onto the plate;
- a moving unit capable of moving the holding portion to an imparting region where the working subject imparts the observation target object onto the plate;
- and
- a control unit configured to control the moving unit,
- wherein the imparting region is provided at a corner portion close to both a front wall portion and one side wall portion of the housing, and
- the control unit controls the moving unit such that the holding portion moves from a supply position of the plate to the holding portion to an imparting position of the observation target object by the working subject in the imparting region.
