Abstract
Mats having a body having a thickness defined between a first side and a second side, a lip extending from the body and having a thickness less than the thickness of the body, the lip having a plurality of ribs and a plurality of channels defined between adjacent ribs of the plurality of ribs, and a plurality of lip stiffeners arranged within the channels of the lip and defining a transverse rib extending in a direction perpendicular to a direction of the plurality of ribs.

A mat comprising:
- a body having a thickness defined between a first side and a second side;
- a lip extending from the body and having a thickness less than the thickness of the body, the lip having a plurality of ribs and a plurality of channels defined between adjacent ribs of the plurality of ribs;
- and
- a plurality of lip stiffeners arranged within the channels of the lip and defining a transverse rib extending in a direction perpendicular to a direction of the plurality of ribs.

- a body of the mat having a thickness defined between a first side and a second side and defining a thickness direction;
- and
- a lip extending from the body and having a thickness in the thickness direction less than the thickness of the body, the lip having a plurality of ribs and a first channel,
- wherein the plurality of ribs comprise a first rib having a first thickness in the thickness direction and a second rib having a second thickness in the thickness direction, and the first channel has a third thickness in the thickness direction,
- wherein the first thickness and the second thickness are each greater than the third thickness such that a void is formed at the first channel between the first rib and the second rib.
