A composition comprising a refrigerant,

• wherein the refrigerant contains trans-1,2-difluoroethylene (HFO-1132 (E)), trifluoroethylene (HFO-1123), and difluoromethane (R32), and
• wherein, in the refrigerant, when mass percentages of HFO-1132 (E), HFO-1123, and R32 based on their sum are defined as x, y, and z, respectively, in a ternary composition diagram in which a sum of HFO-1132 (E), HFO-1123, and R32 is 100% by mass, coordinates (x,y,z) are within a range of a figure surrounded by lines EK, KL, LB′, B′I, IH, HG, GF, and FE connecting each of eight points:
• point E (36.3, 28.1, 35.6);
• point K (30.3, 21.7, 48.0);
• point L (26.7, 14.1, 59.2);
• point B′ (0.0, 49.8, 59.2);
• point I (0.0, 56.0, 44.0);
• point H (10.0, 47.0, 43.0);
• point G (20.3, 38.7, 41.0);
• and
• point F (29.6, 32.5, 37.9),
• or on the lines EK, KL, LB′, IH, HG, GF, and FE (except for points B′ and I).
