Abstract
An elevator control input device includes at least two sensors which are configured for detecting the presence of an object, in particular a part of a human body such as a hand or a finger, within a vicinity of the respective sensor. The elevator control input device is configured for triggering a first action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than a first distance (d1) but further away than a second distance (d2) from the respective sensor; and for triggering a second action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than the second distance (d2) from the respective sensor.
Claims15
Elevator control input device comprising at least two sensors which are configured for detecting the presence of an object, in particular a part of a human body such as a hand or a finger, within a vicinity of the respective sensor;
- wherein each sensor is further configured for detecting the distance between the detected object and the respective sensor;
- and
- wherein the elevator control input device is configured for:
- triggering a first action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than a first distance (d1) but further away than a second distance (d2) from the respective sensor;
- and for
- triggering a second action individually associated with the respective sensor when the object is detected to be situated closer than the second distance (d2) from the respective sensor.
