Airplane Tray Cover Multi-Compartment Holder System and Method

A tray cover holder, comprising:

• a case having an interior space and an opening connected to the interior space;
• a divider in the interior space separating the interior space into a plurality of compartments, wherein each of the plurality of compartments is adapted to receive an individual tray cover;
• a door connected to the case by a living hinge, wherein the door is selectively pivotable on the living hinge between an open position and a closed position with respect to the opening of the case;
• a window in the door, wherein the window comprises a first latch element selectively movable in a first direction to latch the door in the closed position and in a second direction to unlatch the door;
• and
• a second latch element connected to the divider, wherein the second latch element is adapted to engage with the first latch element to latch the door in the closed position and to disengage with the first latch element to unlatch the door.

A tray cover holder, comprising:

• a case having an interior space, wherein the interior space is adapted to receive an individual tray cover with the individual tray cover, and wherein the interior space has an opening for inserting and retrieving the individual tray cover;
• a door pivotably connected to the case, wherein the door is selectively movable between an open position and a closed position with respect to the opening of the interior space;
• and
• a window in the door, wherein the window is selectively movable in relation to the door in a first direction and a second direction;
• wherein the window comprises a first latch element and the case comprises a second latch element;
• wherein the first latch element and the second latch element are adapted to engage when the window moves in the first direction to latch the door to the case in the closed position, and to disengage when the window moves in the second direction to unlatch the door from the case.
