An exemplary integrated battery cargo platform includes a housing having an exterior surface and a structural strength to support cargo for transit on a top surface, a battery enclosed in the housing with power contacts exposed at the exterior surface.
Claims20
A cargo platform, comprising:
- a housing having an exterior surface and a structural strength to support cargo for transit on a top surface;
- and
- a battery enclosed in the housing with power contacts exposed at the exterior surface.
A method comprising:
- disposing a cargo platform in a transportation vehicle, the cargo platform comprising a housing enclosing a battery with power contacts exposed at an exterior surface of the housing, and cargo supported on a top surface of the housing;
- and
- coupling the battery via the power contacts to an electrical system of the transportation vehicle.
