Abstract
According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for managing medical events affecting a driver or passenger of a vehicle is provided. The present invention may include detecting, based on sensor data, a medical event affecting a driver of the vehicle; confirming, with a secondary decision maker, the medical event and one or more environmental changes to an internal environment of the vehicle based on the detected medical event; and executing the one or more environmental changes.
Claims20
A processor-implemented method for managing medical events in a vehicle, the method comprising:
- detecting, based on medical data collected by one or more sensors, a medical event affecting a driver of the vehicle;
- confirming, with a secondary decision maker, one or more environmental changes to an internal environment of the vehicle based on the detected medical event;
- and
- executing the one or more environmental changes.
A computer system for managing medical events in a vehicle, the computer system comprising:
- one or more processors, one or more computer-readable memories, one or more computer-readable tangible storage medium, and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more tangible storage medium for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, wherein the computer system is capable of performing a method comprising:
- detecting, based on medical data collected by one or more sensors, a medical event affecting a driver of the vehicle;
- confirming, with a secondary decision maker, one or more environmental changes to an internal environment of the vehicle based on the detected medical event;
- and
- executing the one or more environmental changes.
A computer program product for managing medical events in a vehicle, the computer program product comprising:
- one or more computer-readable tangible storage medium and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more tangible storage medium, the program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
- detecting, based on medical data collected by one or more sensors, a medical event affecting a driver of the vehicle;
- confirming, with a secondary decision maker, one or more environmental changes to an internal environment of the vehicle based on the detected medical event;
- and
- executing the one or more environmental changes.
