Golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads

A golf club head comprising:

• a hollow body portion comprising a toe portion with a toe portion edge, a hosel portion, a top portion with a top portion edge, a sole portion with a sole portion edge, a front portion, a back portion with a back wall portion, a lower hollow body portion extending from a location proximate to the sole portion edge toward the top portion edge and an upper hollow body portion extending from a location proximate to the top portion edge toward the sole portion edge;
• a face portion coupled to the front portion to close an opening on the front portion, the face portion having a front surface configured to strike a ball and a back surface opposite the front surface;
• and
• a filler material inside the hollow body portion, the filler material comprising:
• a first filler material portion coupled to the back wall portion;
• a second filler material portion coupled to the back surface of the face portion;
• and
• a third filler material portion located between the first filler material portion and the second filler material portion and coupled to the first filler material portion and the second filler material portion,
• wherein an inner portion of the hollow body portion between the first filler material portion and the second filler material portion is devoid of the filler material.

A golf club head comprising:

• a first material portion comprising a toe portion with a toe portion edge, a hosel portion, a top portion with a top portion edge, a sole portion with a sole portion edge, a front portion, a back portion with a back wall portion, and an interior cavity having a first cavity portion extending from a location proximate to the sole portion edge toward a horizontal midplane of the first material portion and a second cavity portion extending from a location proximate to the top portion edge toward the horizontal midplane, the first cavity portion is below the second cavity portion;
• a face portion at the front portion, the face portion having a front surface configured to strike a ball and a back surface opposite the front surface;
• and
• a second material portion with a density less than the first material portion located in the interior cavity, the second material portion comprising:
• a first part coupled to the back wall portion;
• and
• a second part coupled to the back surface of the face portion,
• wherein a portion of the interior cavity between the first part of the second material portion and the second part of the second material portion is devoid of the second material portion, and
• wherein a distance between the portion of the interior cavity and the face portion is less than a distance between the portion of the interior cavity and the back wall portion.
