A method of reducing body mass index (BMI) in a subject comprising administration of a therapeutically effective amount of (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine,

• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

A method of treating a condition or disorder associated with being overweight or obese in a subject comprising administration of a therapeutically effective amount of (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine,

• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine,

• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is conjointly administered with a second weight loss agent.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered orally.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered once daily.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered once daily for at least 5 weeks.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered once daily for at least 25 weeks.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered for at least 50 weeks.

The method of any preceding claim, wherein the (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is the camsylate salt of (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine,

Use of (1r,1′R,4R)-4-methoxy-5″-methyl-6′-[5-(prop-1-yn-1-yl)pyridin-3-yl]-3′H-dispiro[cyclohexane-1,2′-indene-1′,2″-imidazol]-4″-amine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, in the preparation of a medicament for affecting weight loss.
