Abstract
A method for improving immune profile and function in adults and elderly is provided. The method includes a step of providing or administering a ketogenic fasting mimicking diet to a normal subject or a subject in need of immune profile and function improvement.

A method for improving immune profile and function comprising:
- providing or administering an immune-enhancing ketogenic fasting-mimicking diet to a subject in need of immune profile and function improvement.
A method for preparing an immune-enhancing ketogenic fasting-mimicking diet package for treating a subject that is in need of improving immune profile and function, the immune-enhancing ketogenic fasting-mimicking diet package including breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal portions for administering an immune-enhancing ketogenic fasting-mimicking diet for each day of a first time period. the method comprising:
- receiving subject information for the subject that includes a subject's weight;
- and
- forming meal portions for each day of a predetermined time period during which the immune-enhancing ketogenic fasting-mimicking diet is administered, the meal portions providing the subject with at most 80 percent of a subject's normal calorie consumption per day with protein and sugar rejection.
