Abstract
An aqueous antimicrobial cleaning composition is described. The composition includes from about 0.05% to about 2% by weight of the composition of a quaternary ammonium biocidal compound; from about 0.1% to about 4% by weight of the composition of a polymer comprising a maleic acid-co-alkyl vinyl ether monomers; from about 0.05% to about 5% by weight of the composition of a surfactant; from about 0% to about 3% by weight of the composition of a pH adjusting agent; and at least 80% by weight of the composition of water.

An aqueous antimicrobial cleaning composition comprising:
- i) from about 0.05% to about 2% by weight of the composition of a quaternary ammonium biocidal compound;
- ii) from about 0.1% to about 4% by weight of the composition of a polymer comprising a maleic acid-co-alkyl vinyl ether monomers;
- iii) from about 0.05% to about 5% by weight of the composition of a surfactant;
- iv) from about 0% to about 3% by weight of the composition of a pH adjusting agent;
- and
- v) at least about 80% by weight of the composition of water.
