Abstract
The disclosure presents a composite concrete structure formwork which comprises stay in place fiberglass profiles and reinforcement to form various building and shelter structures. The structures include an interior container maintained at a set distance within an exterior container to form a void. The void is filled with wet concrete which is allowed to cure. All of the components in a preferred embodiment are formed of a fiberglass material.
Claims38
A composite concrete structure formwork system comprising:
- an exterior container, including a first interior surface;
- an interior container, including a second interior surface;
- the interior container, maintained at a fixed distance within the exterior container, by a set of radial stanchions permanently bonded to the first interior surface and the second interior surface;
- and,
- the exterior container and the interior container forming at least a first partially enclosed void for containing concrete.
A composite concrete structure formwork system comprising:
- a base pan;
- a set of dual panel walls, sealed to the base pan;
- a dual panel top section, sealed to the set of dual panel walls;
- and,
- wherein the set of dual panel walls and the dual panel top section form an interior void.
A composite concrete structure formwork system comprising:
- an interior rectangular arch support;
- a front flange and a rear flange attached to the interior rectangular arch support;
- a first outer wall connected to the front flange and the rear flange;
- a second outer wall connected to the front flange and the rear flange;
- a first plurality of radial stanchions connected to and between the interior rectangular arch support and the first outer wall;
- a second plurality of radial stanchions connected to and between the interior rectangular arch support and the second outer wall;
- wherein the interior arch support, the first outer wall and the second outer wall form a void for holding concrete.
A method of constructing a composite concrete structure comprising:
- bonding a set of wall interior panels to a set of wall exterior panels, with a first set of stanchions, to form a set of composite walls;
- bonding a top interior panel to a top exterior panel, with a second set of stanchions, to form a composite roof;
- bonding the set of composite walls to form a composite box structure;
- bonding the composite box structure to a floor pan;
- attaching the composite roof to the box structure to form an interior void;
- filling the floor pan with a first concrete pour and allowing to the first concrete pour to cure;
- and,
- filling the interior void with a second concrete pour and allowing the second concrete pour to cure to create the composite concrete structure.
A method of constructing a composite concrete structure comprising:
- providing a first wall and a second wall;
- providing an interior rectangular arch structure having a front flange and a rear flange;
- bonding a first set of stanchions between the first wall and the interior rectangular arch structure;
- bonding a second set of stanchions between the second wall and the interior rectangular arch structure;
- bonding the first wall to the front flange and the rear flange;
- bonding the second wall to the front flange and the rear flange, thereby creating an enclosed void;
- and,
- filling the enclosed void with concrete and allowing the concrete to cure.
