Technologies and techniques that reduce cost and time for propagation, transplantation and harvesting of Vetiver Grass for multiple applications. Tools, equipment, systems and processes to propagate, transplant and harvest Vetiver Grass that will promote the rapid implementation of sustainable, large-scale Vetiver plantations in wealthy and impoverished countries alike.

A genetically modified cold tolerant Vetiver grass plant.
A Vetiver Grass harvester comprising:
- a grass mower unit configured to mow Vetiver Grass;
- cutting head unit configured to cut Vetiver Grass;
- chain conveyer unit attached to the cutting head unit at first end thereof;
- and
- a detachable hopper attached to the chain conveyor unit at a second end thereof,
- wherein the chain conveyor unit is configured to transport cut Vetiver Grass from the cutting head unit to the detachable hopper.
