User terminal and radio communication method

A terminal comprising:

• a processor that, when a cross carrier scheduling from a first carrier corresponding to a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) to a second carrier corresponding to a second SCS is configured, determines, based on a number of downlink cells scheduled by the first carrier corresponding to the first SCS, a maximum number of monitored physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates and a maximum number of monitored non-overlapping control channel elements (CCEs) for the first SCS;
• and
• a receiver that monitors PDCCH candidates on the first carrier corresponding to the first SCS based on the maximum number of the PDCCH candidates and the maximum number of the non-overlapping CCEs.

A radio communication method comprising:

• when a cross carrier scheduling from a first carrier corresponding to a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) to a second carrier corresponding to a second SCS is configured, determining, based on a number of downlink cells scheduled by the first carrier corresponding to the first SCS, a maximum number of monitored physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates and a maximum number of monitored non-overlapping control channel elements (CCEs) for the first SCS;
• and
• monitoring PDCCH candidates on the first carrier corresponding to the first SCS based on the maximum number of the PDCCH candidates and the maximum number of the non-overlapping CCEs.
