Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a timing for a reference signal measurement. The UE may measure, for a secondary cell activation procedure, a reference signal based at least in part on determining the timing for the reference signal measurement. Numerous other aspects are provided.

A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the memory, configured to:
- determine a timing for a reference signal measurement;
- and
- measure, for a secondary cell activation procedure, a reference signal based at least in part on determining the timing for the reference signal measurement.
A base station for wireless communication, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors, coupled to the memory, configured to:
- determine a timing for a reference signal;
- and
- transmit, for a secondary cell activation procedure, the reference signal based at least in part on determining the timing for the reference signal.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- determining a timing for a reference signal measurement;
- and
- measuring, for a secondary cell activation procedure, a reference signal based at least in part on determining the timing for the reference signal measurement.
A method of wireless communication performed by a base station, comprising:
- determining a timing for a reference signal;
- and
- transmitting, for a secondary cell activation procedure, the reference signal based at least in part on determining the timing for the reference signal.
