Abstract
A method may include obtaining a first audio signal including first speech originating at a remote device during a communication session between the remote device and a communication device and obtaining a second audio signal including second speech originating at the communication device during the communication session between the remote device and the communication device. The method may also include obtaining a characteristic of the communication session from one or more of: the first audio signal, the second audio signal, and settings of the communication device and determining a hearing level of a user of the communication device using the characteristic of the communication session.

A method comprising:
- obtaining a first audio signal including first speech originating at a remote device during a communication session between the remote device and a communication device;
- obtaining a second audio signal including second speech originating at the communication device during the communication session between the remote device and the communication device;
- obtaining a characteristic of the communication session from one or more of:
- the first audio signal, the second audio signal, and settings of the communication device;
- determining a hearing level of a user of the communication device using the characteristic of the communication session;
- and
- in response to the determined hearing level, adjusting a presentation provided by the communication device to the user.
A device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- one or more computer-readable media coupled to the one or more processors, the one or more computer-readable media configured to store instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the device to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- obtaining first data including first speech originating at a remote device during a communication session between the remote device and the device;
- obtaining second data of a user of the device including second speech originating at the device;
- determining a hearing level of the user of the device from one or more of:
- the first data, the second data, and settings of the device;
- and
- in response to the determined hearing level, adjusting a presentation provided by the device to the user.
A method comprising:
- obtaining first data including first speech originating at a remote device during a communication session between the remote device and a communication device;
- obtaining second data of a user of the communication device including second speech originating at the communication device;
- determining a hearing level of the user of the communication device from one or more of:
- the first data, the second data, and settings of the communication device;
- and
- in response to the determined hearing level, adjusting a presentation provided by the communication device to the user.
