Abstract
Methods and systems for managing data and transmission of content are disclosed. A computing device may receive a request for content. The computing device may determine data associated with the requested content.
Claims24
A method comprising:
- receiving a request for a first version of content;
- determining an index defining a location of the first version of the content and a location of a second version of the content;
- storing the index in a cache;
- determining that a quantity of data stored in the cache satisfies a threshold, the data comprising the index;
- and
- processing, based on the quantity of data stored in the cache satisfying the threshold, a request for the second version of the content according to the index from the cache.

- one or more processors;
- and
- a memory storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to:
- receive a request for a first version of content;
- determine an index defining a location of the first version of the content and a location of a second version of the content;
- store the index in a cache;
- determine that a quantity of data stored in the cache satisfies a threshold, the data comprising the index;
- and
- process, based on the quantity of data stored in the cache satisfying the threshold, a request for the second version of the content according to the index from the cache.
