System and method for off-chain cryptographic transaction verification

A method for processing cryptographic transactions in a blockchain environment, the method comprising:

• receiving, at an off-chain verification computer, a request from an address associated with a network-connected first user device, the request indicative of a transactional value to be processed via a blockchain;
• analyzing, by the off-chain verification computer, the address by comparison of the address to a whitelist, wherein the whitelist comprises an on-chain database of one or more registered addresses;
• in response to determining that the address is found on the whitelist, creating, by the off-chain verification computer, a pending transaction using a smart contract associated to the blockchain, wherein creating the pending transaction comprises creating a new block and recording information associated with the new block into the blockchain;
• adding, by the off-chain verification computer, the pending transaction to a list of pending transaction;
• receiving, by the off-chain verification computer, at least one pending transaction from the list of pending transaction to determine whether processing of the at least one transaction is allowed, wherein the determining comprises performance of a plurality of checks;
• and
• in response to determining that the processing is allowed:
• associating, by the off-chain verification computer, a plurality of tokens to an account associated with the address, and
• forwarding, by the off-chain verification computer, a transaction amount to a token issuer, to enable the token issuer for creation of a plurality of blockchain tokens and/or coins.
