Abstract
A communication apparatus determines whether or not the communication apparatus and one or more other communication apparatuses capable of performing coordinated communication by coordinating with the communication apparatus to use a predetermined frequency band can obtain channel state information from one or more communication partner apparatuses that perform the coordinated communication, and selects a communication method for performing the coordinated communication from among a plurality of communication methods based on a result of the determination.
Claims12
A communication apparatus, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more memories that store a computer-readable instruction for causing, when executed by the one or more processors, the communication apparatus to:
- determine, in a case where one or more other communication apparatuses are capable of perform coordinated communication by using a predetermined frequency band, whether or not performing high-speed connection with the one or more other communication apparatuses each operating as an access point is possible;
- and
- select, on the basis that it is determined that it is possible to perform high-speed connection with the one or more other communication apparatuses each operating as an access point, a Joint Transmission (JTX) method.
A method of controlling a communication apparatus, the method comprising:
- determining, in a case where one or more other communication apparatuses are capable of perform coordinated communication by using a predetermined frequency band, whether or not performing high-speed connection with the one or more other communication apparatuses each operating as an access point is possible;
- and
- selecting, on the basis that it is determined that it is possible to perform high-speed connection with the one or more other communication apparatuses each operating as an access point, a Joint Transmission (JTX) method.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program for causing a computer to execute a method of controlling a communication apparatus, the method comprising:
- determining, in a case where one or more other communication apparatuses are capable of perform coordinated communication by using a predetermined frequency band, whether or not performing high-speed connection with the one or more other communication apparatuses each operating as an access point is possible;
- and
- selecting, on the basis that it is determined that it is possible to perform high-speed connection with the one or more other communication apparatuses each operating as an access point, a Joint Transmission (JTX) method.
