Abstract

A method includes removably coupling a battery pack to a communications module at a first interface. The battery pack includes battery pack operating information and power tool operating information. The method includes determining, via the communications module, an operating parameter of the battery pack, and charging the battery pack, via a charger module, if the operating parameter is less than a predetermined threshold. The charger module is removably coupled to the communications module at a second interface. The method includes transferring the battery pack operating information and the power tool operating information from the battery pack to the communications device if the operating parameter is greater than the predetermined threshold.
