A cable routing box for fitting to an electrical switch is disclosed, wherein, with the cable routing box fitted, a cable is connected to the electrical switch in a first plane and is routed through the cable routing box. The cable routing box includes a guide for the cable in the cable routing box. The cable exits the cable routing box in a second plane, which differs from the first plane.

A cable routing box for fitting to an electrical switch, wherein, with the cable routing box fitted, a cable is connected to the electrical switch in a first plane is routed through the cable routing box, the cable routing box comprising:
- a guide for the cable in the cable routing box, wherein the cable exits the cable routing box in a second plane, the second plane being different from the first plane.
