Abstract
A fish tape for use with a fish tape tool. The fish tape includes an inner core formed of a first material, and an outer sheath surrounding the inner core formed of a second material that has a lower coefficient of friction than the first material.

A fish tape for use with a fish tape tool, the fish tape comprising:
- an inner core formed of a first material;
- and
- an outer sheath surrounding the inner core and formed of a second material that has a lower coefficient of friction than the first material.
A fish tape tool comprising:
- a housing;
- a chamber defined in the housing;
- a motor supported by the housing, the motor configured to rotate in a first direction and a second direction that is opposite the first direction;
- a battery configured to power the motor;
- a drum including
- a fish tape including
- an inner core formed of a first material, and
- an outer sheath surrounding the inner core and formed of a second material that has a lower coefficient of friction than the first material, and
- a rotatable drum portion that is configured to receive torque from the motor when the drum is in the chamber of the housing,
- wherein when the drum is in the chamber and the motor is rotated in the first direction, the drum portion is rotated in the first direction, such that the fish tape is dispensed from the drum, and
- wherein when the drum is in the chamber and the motor is rotated in the second direction, the drum portion is rotated in the second direction, such that the fish tape is retracted into the drum.

- a frame;
- a drum portion rotatable relative to the frame;
- and
- a fish tape in the drum portion, the fish tape including
- an inner core formed of a first material, and
