Abstract
A positive electrode material for lithium ion secondary batteries is provided, wherein a ratio (A/B) of an oil absorption amount (A) of powder per unit mass of the material, which is measured using N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, to a void volume (B) of powder per unit mass of the material is 0.30 or more and 0.85 or less, and a ratio (C/D) of a powder density (C) of the material, which is measured in a powder pressure test at a pressure of 4.5 MPa, to an initial powder density (D) of the material is 1.3 or more and 1.7 or less.
Claims6
A positive electrode material for lithium ion secondary batteries, comprising
- an olivine positive electrode active material which consists of a compound represented by Formula LixAyDzPO4 (where A represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Co, Mn, Ni, Fe, Cu, and Cr, D represents at least one selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Ti, Zn, B, Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge, Sc, and Y, 0.9<x<1.1, 0<y≤1, 0≤z<1, and 0.9<y+z<1.1),
- wherein
- a ratio (AB) of an oil absorption amount (A) of powder per unit mass of the material, which is measured using N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, to a void volume (B) of powder per unit mass of the material is 0.30 or more and 0.85 or less, and
- a ratio (C/D) of a powder density (C) of the material, which is measured in a powder pressure test at a pressure of 4.5 MPa, to an initial powder density (D) of the material is 1.3 or more and 1.7 or less.
