Communication arrangement for a container handling equipment and communication method

A communication system comprising:

• a terminal operating system;
• and
• at least two container handling equipment (CHEs), each CHE configured to operate in a determined area that comprises a plurality of container spots arranged in pluralities of rows and columns, and each CHE comprising a communication arrangement that comprises:
• a first communication module configured to retrieve from said terminal operating system a plurality of jobs to be performed by said CHE within said area, said job comprising instructions to move a container and identifying a container spot of the plurality of container spots;
• and
• a second communication module configured to communicate with at least a second CHE of the at least two CHEs, said communication with said at least one second CHE being autonomous from receipts from the first communication module and/or manual triggering and configured to transmit a job sharing message to the at least one second CHE, said job sharing message indicating a job to be performed by the at least one second CHE, said job being a job of the plurality of jobs,
• wherein said terminal operating system is configured to transmit a first plurality of jobs to a first one of the at least two CHEs and a second plurality of jobs to a second one of the at least two CHEs.
