Abstract
Methods, systems, apparatus for media processing are described. One example method of digital media processing includes performing a conversion between visual media data and a bitstream of the visual media data, wherein the performing of the conversion includes selectively applying a convolutional neural network filter during the conversion based on a rule, and wherein the rule specifies whether and/or how the convolutional neural network filter is applied.
Claims20
A method of processing visual media data, comprising:
- performing a conversion between visual media data and a bitstream of the visual media data,
- wherein the performing of the conversion includes selectively applying a convolutional neural network filter during the conversion based on a rule;
- wherein the rule specifies whether and/or how the convolutional neural network filter is applied.
An apparatus for processing visual media data comprising a processor and a non-transitory memory with instructions thereon, wherein the instructions upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to:
- perform a conversion between visual media data and a bitstream of the visual media data,
- wherein the performing of the conversion includes selectively applying a convolutional neural network filter during the conversion based on a rule;
- wherein the rule specifies whether and/or how the convolutional neural network filter is applied.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that cause a processor to:
- perform a conversion between visual media data and a bitstream of the visual media data,
- wherein the performing of the conversion includes selectively applying a convolutional neural network filter during the conversion based on a rule;
- wherein the rule specifies whether and/or how the convolutional neural network filter is applied.
