Abstract
A computer-implemented method for determining an emotional state of a user based on a facial expression of the user and causing to display the emotional state of the user to the user is provided.

A computer-implemented method for determining an emotional state of a user, comprising:
- obtaining a facial expression of the user;
- receiving prior communication data associated with the user;
- determining the emotional state of the user based on the facial expression of the user and further based on the prior communication data;
- and
- causing to display the emotional state of the user to the user.
