Abstract
A memory system includes a memory and a controller. The memory includes at least a first memory cell and a second memory cell. The controller can determine a first stress type that the first memory cell received or a second stress type that the second memory cell received based on a change amount between a first read threshold voltage to read data from the first memory cell when having received stress, and a second read threshold voltage to read data from the first memory cell when having received no stress.

A memory system comprising:
- a memory including at least a first memory cell and a second memory cell;
- and
- a controller configured to determine a first stress type that the first memory cell received or a second stress type that the second memory cell received based on a change amount between a first read threshold voltage to read data from the first memory cell when having received stress, and a second read threshold voltage to read data from the first memory cell when having received no stress.
A method of controlling a memory system that includes a memory including at least a first memory cell and a second memory cell, the method comprising:
- determining a first stress type that the first memory cell received or a second stress type that the second memory cell received based on a change in a read threshold voltage corresponding to the first memory cell when having received stress.
