Abstract
A method, apparatus, and computer for providing hazard information to a road user. The method includes detecting a potential hazard situation for the road user based on sensor data of an environment sensor system of a transportation vehicle; determining hazard information to be transmitted in relation to the hazard situation, wherein the hazard information to be transmitted includes information on a trajectory for the road user; and transmitting the hazard information to the road user by light-based data transmission.
Claims22
An apparatus for providing hazard information for a road user, the apparatus comprising:
- an evaluation unit for detecting a potential hazard situation for the road user based on sensor data of an environment sensor system of a transportation vehicle;
- a computing unit for determining hazard information to be transmitted in relation to the hazard situation, wherein the hazard information to be transmitted includes information on a trajectory for the road user;
- and
- a transmission unit for transmitting the hazard information to the road user by light-based data transmission.
A method for providing hazard information to a road user, the method comprising:
- detecting a potential hazard situation for the road user based on sensor data of an environment sensor system of a transportation vehicle;
- determining hazard information to be transmitted in relation to the hazard situation, wherein the hazard information to be transmitted includes information on a trajectory for the road user;
- and
- transmitting the hazard information to the road user by light-based data transmission.
A non-transitory computer readable medium including a computer program having instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to execute operations for providing hazard information for a road user, the operations comprising:
- detecting a potential hazard situation for the road user based on sensor data of an environment sensor system of a transportation vehicle;
- determining hazard information to be transmitted in relation to the hazard situation, wherein the hazard information to be transmitted includes information on a trajectory for the road user;
- and
- transmitting the hazard information to the road user by light-based data transmission.
