Abstract

There are provided systems and methods for parent level token issuance for asynchronous data processing based on device trust levels. Two devices may interact enough that they develop a trust rating between the two devices that the devices are trusted for transaction processing and resolution. In order to provide asynchronous transaction processing without requiring a token service provider or transaction processor, a parent level token may be issued to the devices by a token service provider based on the trust rating. The devices may receive child level tokens from the parent token, while the parent token is stored by the transaction processor. The child level tokens may allow the devices and transaction processor to trust the devices to process and resolve transaction processing without availing the token service provider for token issuance.

Dependent claims

A system, comprising:

a non-transitory memory;
and
one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
determining, based on user device data for a first user device and a second user device, that a trust level between the first user device and the second user device exceeds a predetermined threshold;
obtaining, in response to determining that the trust level between the first user device and the second user device exceeds the predetermined threshold, a transaction processing token from a token service provider;
storing the transaction processing token on the system;
receiving a transaction processing request between the first user device and the second user device, the transaction processing request identifying the transaction processing token;
and
processing the transaction processing request using the transaction processing token.

determining an association between a first user device and a second user device based on a connection between the first user device and the second user device;
requesting, from a token service provider in response to determining the association between the first user device and the second user device, a token for electronic transaction processing between the first user device and the second user device;
and
receiving the token from the token service provider, wherein the token is associated with a sub-token issued to the first user device, and wherein the sub-token is usable in a transaction processing request received from the first user device to identify the token for processing a transaction between the first user device and the second user device.
