Disclosed is a water turbine including an endless chain with buckets and two floats disposed on either side of the chain, the chain driving electricity generators.

A water turbine comprising:
- an endless chain with buckets and two axlesdisposed substantially in the same horizontal plane and parallel to each other, so that a movement of the chain causes a rotation of each of said axles,
- at least one electricity generatorand means for transmitting the rotation movement of an axle to an input shaft of said generator.
