Abstract
The present disclosure provides engineered immune cells and methods for their creation and use. The immune cells comprise activating and blocking receptors, and the levels of expression of the receptors are based on antigen levels on cells from a sample.
Claims20
A method of producing an engineered immune cell, the method comprising:
- producing an engineered immune cell that expresses activating receptors and blocking receptors based on a ratio of a quantity of an activating ligand to a quantity of a blocking ligand that are expressed in non-tumor cells of a patient.
A method of producing an engineered immune cell, the method comprising:
- obtaining a sample from a patient comprising target and non-target cells;
- performing an assay to determine a ratio of a quantity of an activating ligand to a quantity of a blocking ligand expressed on the non-target cells;
- and
- producing an engineered immune cell that expresses activating receptors and blocking receptors based on the determined ratio.
