Abstract
The present invention concerns a detergent and a pharmaceutical composition comprising a deoxyribonuclease (DNase), wherein the DNase is obtained from a fungal source. It further concerns a laundering method and the use of DNase. The present invention further relates to polypeptides having DNase activity, nucleotides encoding the polypeptide, as well as methods of producing the polypeptides.
Claims11
1-20. (canceled)
A detergent composition comprising a polypeptide having DNase activity, wherein the polypeptide has at least 60% sequence identity to the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, SEQ ID NO:
- 8, or SEQ ID NO:
- 9, or a fragment thereof possessing DNase activity, and a detergent adjunct ingredient.
A nucleic acid construct or expression vector comprising a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having DNase activity, wherein the polypeptide has at least 60% sequence identity to the polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, SEQ ID NO:
- 8, or SEQ ID NO:
- 9, or a fragment thereof possessing DNase activity, operably linked to one or more control sequences that direct the production of the polypeptide in a recombinant host cell.
