Abstract
A cannula for a vial adapter, having a pressure equalization device, includes a body having a first end, a second end positioned opposite the first end, and a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end. The body defines a central passageway extending from the first end to the second end of the body, with the body defining an opening extending through the sidewall of the body. The opening is in fluid communication with the central passageway. The second end of the body is closed.

A cannula for a vial adapter comprising a pressure equalization device, the cannula comprising:
- a body having a first end, a second end positioned opposite the first end, and a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end, the body defining a central passageway extending from the first end to the second end of the body, the body defining an opening extending through the sidewall of the body, the opening is in fluid communication with the central passageway, wherein the second end of the body is closed.
