Abstract
An adjustable animal vest and methods of using same, the vest including an attachment panel for placement between a neck and a waist of an underside of an animal, a first fastening panel for placement on a first lateral side of the animal, a second fastening panel for placement on a second lateral side of the animal, a first cover panel for placement over the first fastening panel on the first lateral side of the animal, and a second cover panel for placement over the second fastening panel on the second lateral side of the animal. Upon proper panel placement on the animal, complementary attachment features located on inner and outer surfaces of the panels are fastened to each other to form the adjustable animal vest assembly.
Claims28
A quadruped vest assembly comprising:
- a plurality of separable panels including a chest panel, a first inner panel, a second inner panel, a first outer panel and a second outer panel,
- a first fastener operatively coupled to and between the chest panel and the first inner panel,
- a second fastener operatively coupled to and between the chest panel and the second inner panel,
- a third fastener operatively coupled to and between the first inner panel and the second inner panel,
- a fourth fastener operatively coupled to and between the first outer panel and the first inner panel, and
- a fifth fastener operatively coupled to and between the second outer panel and the second inner panel.
A method of assembling a quadruped vest assembly comprising:
- positioning a chest panel on a chest of a quadruped,
- positioning a first inner panel on a first lateral side of the quadruped,
- positioning a second inner panel on a second lateral side of the quadruped,
- detachably coupling the chest panel to the first inner panel and the second inner panel,
- detachably coupling the first inner panel to the second inner panel,
- positioning the first outer panel on the first inner panel,
- positioning the second outer panel on the second inner panel,
- detachably coupling the first outer panel to the first inner panel, and
- detachably coupling the second outer panel to the second inner panel.
An adjustable quadruped vest assembly comprising:
- an attachment panel for placement between a neck and a waist of an underside of a quadruped, the attachment panel including attachment features having inner attachment features on an inner attachment panel surface configured to face towards the quadruped and outer attachment features on an outer attachment panel surface configured to face away from the quadruped,
- a first fastening panel for placement on a first lateral side of the animal, the first fastening panel including outer fastening features on a first outer fastening surface configured to face away from the quadruped,
- a second fastening panel for placement on a second lateral side of the quadruped, the second fastening panel including outer fastening features on a second outer fastening surface configured to face away from the quadruped,
- a first cover panel for placement over the first fastening panel on the first lateral side of the quadruped, the first cover panel including inner fastening features on a first inner cover surface configured to face towards the quadruped, and
- a second cover panel for placement over the second fastening panel on the second lateral side of the quadruped, the second cover panel including inner fastening features on a second inner cover surface configured to face towards the quadruped;
- wherein the inner attachment features of the attachment panel are configured to fasten to the outer fastening features of the first and second fastening panels and the first and second fastening panels are configured to be attached along a spine of the quadruped to form an inner vest structure, and
- wherein the outer attachment features of the attachment panel and the outer fastening features of the first fastening panel are configured to attach to the inner fastening features of the first cover panel, and the outer attachment features of the attachment panel and the outer fastening features of the second fastening panel are configured to attach to the inner fastening features of the second cover panel to form the adjustable quadruped vest assembly.
A quadruped vest assembly comprising:
- a plurality of separable panels including a chest panel configured for covering a chest of a quadruped, a first panel configured for covering a first side of the quadruped and a second panel configured for covering a second side of the quadruped,
- a first fastener assembly configured for detachably coupling the chest panel with the first panel,
- a second fastener assembly configured for detachably coupling the chest panel with the second panel,
- a third fastener assembly configured for detachably coupling the chest panel with the first panel,
- a fourth fastener assembly configured for detachably coupling the chest panel with the second panel, and
- a fifth fastener assembly configured for detachably coupling the first panel with the second panel.
