Abstract
The present invention relates to an antiviral composition. The antiviral composition of the invention is applied to textiles to make the textiles virus-resistant before they can be used. The antiviral composition includes an antiviral agent, one or more binding agents and a catalyst or a softener depending upon the utility of the antiviral composition.
Claims22
A composition for imparting antiviral properties to textiles, wherein the composition comprises an antiviral agent with 1.5% by weight of poly (Iminoimidocarbonyliminoimidocarbonyl iminohexamethylene) hydrochloride.
An antiviral composition for imparting antiviral properties to textiles, wherein the antiviral composition comprises:
- an antiviral agent, wherein the anti viral agent is poly (Iminoimidocarbonyliminoimidocarbonyl iminohexamethylene) hydrochloride;
- a plurality of binding agents, wherein the plurality of binding agents includes:
- a first binding agent, wherein the first binding agent is cationic trimethylolmelamine resin;
- a second binding agent, wherein the second binding agent is non-ionic trimethylolmelamine resin;
- and
- a catalyst, wherein the catalyst is a magnesium chloride solution.
An antiviral composition for imparting antiviral properties to textiles, wherein the antiviral composition comprises:
- an antiviral agent around 1.5% by weight,
- a plurality of binding agents, wherein the plurality of binding agents includes:
- a first binding agent approximately 5% by weight, wherein the first binding agent is a cationic trimethylolmelamine resin;
- a second binding agent approximately 3% by weight, wherein the second binding agent is a non-ionic trimethylolmelamine resin;
- and
- a catalyst, wherein the catalyst is a magnesium chloride solution.
An antiviral composition for imparting antiviral properties to textiles, wherein the antiviral composition comprises:
- an antiviral agent approximately 1.5% by weight,
- a plurality of binding agents, wherein the plurality of binding agents includes:
- a first binding agent and a second binding agent, wherein the first binding agent is a cationic trimethylolmelamine resin and the second binding agent is a non-ionic trimethylolmelamine resin;
- and
- a catalyst approximately 1.8% by weight, wherein the catalyst is a magnesium chloride solution.
An antiviral composition for imparting antiviral properties to textiles, wherein the antiviral composition comprises:
- an-anti viral agent which is about 1-2% by weight,
- a plurality of binding agents, wherein the plurality of binding agents includes:
- a first binding agent which is about 2-7% by weight;
- a second binding agent which is about 2-5% by weight;
- and
- a catalyst which is about 1-2% by weight, wherein the catalyst is a magnesium chloride solution.
A composition of an antiviral additive, wherein the antiviral additive introduces properties to clothing during a laundering cycle, further wherein the composition comprises:
- an antiviral agent, wherein the antiviral agent is poly (Iminoimidocarbonyliminoimidocarbonyl iminohexamethylene) hydrochloride;
- and
- a cationic softening agent, wherein the cationic softening agent is aminomodified silicone-polyether copolymer.
A composition of an antiviral additive, wherein the antiviral additive introduces properties to clothing during a laundering cycle, further wherein the composition comprises:
- an-anti viral agent around 1%, wherein the anti-viral agent is poly (Iminoimidocarbonyliminoimidocarbonyl iminohexamethylene) hydrochloride;
- and
- a cationic softening agent, wherein the cationic softening agent is aminomodified silicone-polyether copolymer.
A composition of an antiviral additive, wherein the antiviral additive introduces properties to clothing during a laundering cycle, further wherein the composition comprises:
- an-anti viral agent, wherein the anti-viral agent is poly (Iminoimidocarbonyliminoimidocarbonyl iminohexamethylene) hydrochloride;
- and
- a cationic softening agent around 79%, wherein the cationic softening agent is aminomodified silicone-polyether copolymer.
A composition of an antiviral additive, wherein the antiviral additive introduces properties to any of the textiles during a final rinse cycle, further wherein the composition comprises:
- an antiviral agent which is about 1-2% by weight;
- and a cationic softening agent which is about 78-79% by weight.
A method of using an antiviral composition for cleaning and disinfecting textile fabrics, wherein the method comprises:
- dipping textile fabric into antiviral chemical composition, wherein the active component poly (Iminoimidocarbonyliminoimidocarbonyl iminohexamethylene) hydrochloride is about 1.5% in composition;
- and
- impregnating the antiviral chemical composition, wherein the impregnation is performed by pressing the antiviral chemical composition into the fabric via a nip roller.
