Abstract
Bandwidth parts (BWPs) and other resources for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may use a BWP control procedure and/or a BWP timer management procedure for activating, deactivating, and/or switching BWPs, for example, using multiple active BWPs. A base station may send information comprising one or more fields indicating an action associated with a BWP, for example, if multiple active BWPs are supported. A wireless device may control a first BWP inactivity timer associated with a first active BWP, for example, based on activating, deactivating, and/or switching a second BWP.
Claims43
A method comprising:
- activating, by a wireless device, a primary bandwidth part (BWP) of a cell and a secondary BWP of the cell;
- based on a determination that the primary BWP is active, switching from the primary BWP to a default BWP of the cell as an active BWP of the cell;
- and
- based on the switching from the primary BWP to the default BWP and based on a determination that the secondary BWP is active, deactivating the secondary BWP.
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- activate a primary bandwidth part (BWP) of a cell and a secondary BWP of the cell;
- based on a determination that the primary BWP is active, switch from the primary BWP to a default BWP of the cell as an active BWP of the cell;
- and
- based on switching from the primary BWP to the default BWP and based on a determination that the secondary BWP is active, deactivate the secondary BWP.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:
- activate a primary bandwidth part (BWP) of a cell and a secondary BWP of the cell;
- based on a determination that the primary BWP is active, switch from the primary BWP to a default BWP of the cell as an active BWP of the cell;
- and
- based on switching from the primary BWP to the default BWP and based on a determination that the secondary BWP is active, deactivate the secondary BWP.
A method comprising:
- activating, by a base station device, a primary bandwidth part (BWP) of a cell and a secondary BWP of the cell;
- based on a determination that the primary BWP is active, switching, for a wireless device, from the primary BWP to a default BWP of the cell as an active BWP of the cell;
- and
- based on the switching from the primary BWP to the default BWP and based on a determination that the secondary BWP is active, deactivating, for the wireless device, the secondary BWP.
