Abstract
The present specification proposes various technical characteristics that may be applied to a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) sensing. For example, the present specification proposes a procedure for WLAN sensing using multiple channels or multiple resources. The same or different channels and/or resources may be allocated to at least one wireless device performing the WLAN sensing. The at least one wireless device may perform measurement and signal transmission/reception processes that are included in the WLAN sensing by using the channel(s) and/or resource(s).
Claims16
A method performed in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a receiving station (STA), a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) for a sensing operation from a transmitting STA,
- wherein the PPDU includes at least one control field, and
- wherein the at least one control field includes allocation information related to a sensing unit;
- performing, by the receiving STA, a sensing operation for the sensing unit based on the PPDU;
- and
- transmitting, by the receiving STA, a result of the sensing operation through the sensing unit.
A method performed in a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system, the method comprising:
- transmitting, by a transmitting station (STA), a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) for a sensing operation to at least one receiving STA,
- wherein the PPDU includes at least one control field, and
- wherein the at least one control field includes allocation information related to a sensing unit;
- and
- receiving, by the transmitting STA, a result of a sensing operation for the sensing unit through the sensing unit from the at least one receiving STA.
A device of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) system, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor being operatively connected to the memory,
- wherein the processor is configured to:
- receive, by a receiving station (STA), a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) for a sensing operation from a transmitting STA,
- wherein the PPDU includes at least one control field, and
- wherein the at least one control field includes allocation information related to a sensing unit,
- perform, by the receiving STA, a sensing operation for the sensing unit based on the PPDU, and
- transmit, by the receiving STA, a result of the sensing operation through the sensing unit.
