A hearing device and a method for power supply management of a hearing device is provided, the hearing device comprising a processing unit; a main power source; a first power supply connected to the main power source unit; a magnetic induction unit configured for reception and transmission of wireless signals; wherein the hearing device is configured to deactivate the first power supply during reception of wireless signals.

A hearing device comprising:
- a processing unit;
- a main power source;
- a first power supply connected to the main power source;
- and
- a magnetic induction unit configured to receive wireless signals;
- wherein the hearing device is configured to deactivate the first power supply during reception of the wireless signals.
A method performed by a hearing device, the hearing device comprising a processing unit, a main power source, a first power supply, and a magnetic induction unit, the method comprising:
- receiving wireless signals by the magnetic induction unit;
- and
- deactivating the first power supply during reception of the wireless signals.
