A live broadcast lighting system comprising:
- a light emitting apparatus;
- a control box being connected to the light emitting apparatus;
- and
- a device holder coupled to the control box, wherein the device holder is configured to releasably retain a video recording device;
- wherein the control box comprises an electronic control circuit configured to control rotation of the light emitting apparatus;
- and
- wherein the device holder is configured to be rotatable independent of the rotation of the light emitting apparatus.
A method for remote control of a live broadcast lighting system comprising a light emitting apparatus and a video recording device, the method comprising:
- remotely turning ON or OFF of a plurality of light sources of a light emitting apparatus;
- remotely changing light intensity of the plurality of light sources that are turned ON;
- remotely rotating the light emitting apparatus in three dimensions about a geometric center of the light emitting apparatus;
- remotely adjusting an angle of the video recoding device independently of rotating the light emitting apparatus;
- and
- remotely controlling start and stop of a recording session by the video recording device;
- wherein rotating the light emitting apparatus comprises detecting a movement of a target subject and changing orientation of the light emitting apparatus in response to the movement of the target subject.
