A compound for an organic optoelectronic device represented by Chemical Formula 1:
- wherein, in Chemical Formula 1,
- Ar1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofuranyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzothiophenyl group,
- L1 is an unsubstituted biphenylene group, and
- R1 to R8 are independently hydrogen, deuterium, a cyano group, a halogen group, a substituted or unsubstituted amine group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C6 to C30 aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C2 to C30 heterocyclic group, or a combination thereof.
