The compression mechanism having a housing including a pressing portion pressed against the casing and a weld portion welded to the casing. A compressor, comprising:
- a casing having a cylindrical shape;
- and
- a compression mechanism housed in the casing,
- the compression mechanism having
- a housing including a pressing portion pressed against the casing and
- a weld portion welded to the casing, and
- at least part of the pressing portion and at least part of the weld portion being arranged side by side in a circumferential direction of the casing.
